5 Reasons to Support the Land Trust with a Recurring Donation

Did you know that Truckee Donner Land Trust receives more than half of its annual operating needs through generous donations made in the last few months of each calendar year? This can sometimes make the ebb and flow of our funding needs challenging during the other months of the year.

As a result, donors who make a monthly recurring gift – at any level – provide much needed support during less predictable months of the year.

Whether you give $10 a month or $100, making a recurring gift to the Land Trust provides consistent, reliable support for its mission.

Here are five reasons to support the Land Trust with a recurring donation:

1)    Monthly giving may be easier for you to budget than a one-time gift. You choose the amount that works for you.

2)    You may find it more convenient to make this kind of donation because you can “set it and forget it.” You lead a busy life, after all!

3)    You are passionate about the Land Trust and want to support it without having to think about giving at the end of the year (or forgetting to give).

4)    You can change the amount you give or cancel your recurring donation at any time.

5)    Your recurring gift helps us manage the peaks and valleys of the funding available to jump on new acquisition opportunities and stewardship needs throughout the year.
