Have you put the Land Trust in your estate plans? Please tell us!

During this season of change and thanksgiving, you may be considering your legacy. Through your estate plan, you can provide for your family and still support the causes that matter most to you.

If you’d like to let us know that the Land Trust is in your estate plans, please fill out our new Estate Gift Intention Form (download by clicking the form below) with any details you’re comfortable sharing. We would like to record your gift and thank you properly.

The Land Trust has worked to protect open space in the northern Sierra for more than 30 years, preserving natural resources and opening public access to places that you have helped us conserve. We have another 25,000 acres of the Sierra in our sights to protect and steward for generations to come. That’s why your vision for the future of conservation in the Sierra is so important to our “forever” work.

When you choose to create a planned gift for the Land Trust, you make a significant impact.

Through your will, trust, charitable gift annuity, or any planned gift, you have made an investment in the future success of our mission. Through your commitment, you are partnering with the Land Trust to create a path for another successful 30 years (and beyond) of land acquisition, conservation, and stewardship.

Your decision to include our mission in your plans is worth celebrating!

To celebrate your gift intention – at any level – we have created the Forever Stewards Society. The Forever Stewards Society recognizes thoughtful donors who are committed to safeguarding the future of the Sierra. By notifying the Land Trust of your gift you are helping to leverage even more future support for open space in the Sierra that all can enjoy — for nature, for people, forever.

If you have made a planned gift, thank you! Please complete the Estate Gift Intention Form below. Or contact Danielle Williams at (530) 410-0962 or danielle@tdlandtrust.org to share your interest in making a legacy gift. We look forward to discussing what impact you’d like to make through your gift.

Thank you for supporting the Truckee Donner Land Trust – in so many ways!
