The Land Trust is thrilled to welcome Danielle Williams as our new Director of Philanthropy, along with Chris Rochefort, Jesse Cassidy and Daniel Joannes as part of our growing stewardship team.

Danielle brings 20 years of experience in government, corporate and nonprofit fields ranging from the National Geographic Society to the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum in Reno.

“We are excited to have Danielle on board and working with our donors to continue the conservation work of the Land Trust,” Svahn said.

The Land Trust has also brought on three new full-time employees to help keep up with our growing stewardship responsibilities.

Chris has hit the ground running managing our new Frog Lake Backcountry Huts, Webber Lake and more. Jesse will manage the Land Trusts network of trails, present and future. Daniel will manage the Land Trust’s forests and meadows, completing annual monitoring and seeking funding for forest fuels management.
